The Physcomitrella patens genome v1.1 has been ridded of bacterial contaminations and is now available for BLAST and sequence retrieval (scaffolds, transcripts and proteins). For details of the release see JGI and mossgenome.org.

07-03-02

The plant transcription associated protein database, PlanTAPDB, is now available from the Transcriptome menu. For details see Richardt et al. (2007) Plant Physiol.

07-02-26

The virtual transcriptome, cluster run PP1206, has been released. This is the largest ever dataset, built from more than 390,000 ESTs, including novel sequences produced for the genome annnotation. The databases (including predicted ORFs) are available for BLAST and sequence retrieval.

06-10-27

The PhyscomeProjectWiki has officially been opened. The wiki is meant to document and coordinate the Physcomitrella genome consortiums' efforts to assemble and annotate the moss genome. See FAQ section on how to participate and get account data to read the articles.

06-06-16

The cosmoss.org mailing list has officially been opened. See Help/mailing lists.

06-06-15

Relaunch of the cosmoss.org menu system. We hope you enjoy it.

To come...

- the integrated genome browser, including e.g. the genetic map as well as mapped transposons and ESTs
